Grace Cres: A Scandinavian Modern Bathroom

BARRIE, ON · Bathroom Renovations

The original ensuite was super dated, with dark builder-grade tiles, and felt like a cave even though this bathroom is large. They wanted it to feel like a retreat when they walked in.

The ensuite centres on a freestanding tub beneath the window, framed by a blue-and-white patterned tile wall. A floating walnut vanity, round black mirror and matte black fixtures keep the room clean and grounded, and a frameless glass shower in soft marble-look tile keeps it open and bright.

In the second bathroom, navy cabinetry and white subway tile carry the same palette into a hardworking everyday space.
