Brownlee: A Bold Green Lower Level in Bradford

BRADFORD, ON · Unfinished Basement Renovation

The lower level of this Bradford home had plenty of space but no clear purpose. These lovely clients wanted a wow factor for their basement. A space where the children and grandchildren can relax and spend quality family time.

Deep forest green became the anchor. It wraps the fireplace wall and the wine bar cabinetry, warmed by a curved fluted wood surround and brass sconces. A backlit wine wall with slatted wood panels turns a corner into a feature.

Leather seating and a soft bouclé ottoman make the family room easy to settle into. A dedicated home gym and a green-and-brass bathroom round out a lower level the whole family actually uses.
