Lake Side Condo: A Warm, Modern Waterfront Condo in Barrie

BARRIE, ON · Condo Refresh

This Barrie condo came with wide-open views of Kempenfelt Bay and a builder-standard interior that didn't live up to them. The owners were downsizing and wanted their new home to feel warm and inviting. They wanted to move beyond the standard builder-grade look and create a space they truly loved.

We built the kitchen around floor-to-ceiling walnut cabinetry and a quartz waterfall island with seating for four. Soft cone pendants over the island and a layered drum fixture above the dining table bring warmth to the open plan without competing with the view.

In the living room, a fluted wood media wall frames a linear fireplace, flanked by built-in shelving. A lit bar niche and an upholstered entry bench finish a home that feels considered from the moment you walk in.
